I dwell off-grid with a passel of creatures in the high desert of New Mexico. I love living west of the Missouri, scavenging, experimenting with limits and constraints, bikepacking, hiking, trail running and the lore and allure of deserts. I use writing and visual arts to help me pay attention, to see in new ways, to connect. For me, the art of living well means living the art life, and I hope I have a lot of living left to do.​
